Before you think about writing about clogging and why you love it, we have a couple questions to review with you:

The Introduction Questions:

  • Are you a clogger?
  • How long have you been clogging?
  • Why do you love clogging so much?

If you can’t answer ANY of the above questions, you’re probably not in the right place (or maybe you are an up-and-comer…)

Next question:

Are you a blogger, or an aspiring blogger?

ClogOn.com is always looking for unique perspectives about clogging shoes, taps for clogging, clogging competitions & workshops, the best clogging teams, featured fellow cloggers, and other areas associated with clog dancing in all of its forms and styles.

We’d love to hear your ideas for great blog posts that we can share with the ClogOn community and cloggers all over the world.

Submitting Guest Posts

Here’s how to submit your blog post ‘pitch’:

  1. Tell us who you are, and what your background is related to the above areas
  2. Tell us about your site or blog and include a link
  3. Tell us your Twitter name or location of Facebook pages, if any
  4. Take about 3-4 sentences to tell us about your idea for a post

Your pitch is more likely to be accepted if:

  • It’s written well – good grammar and spelling
  • The idea has the clogging audiences’ benefit in mind, not primarily a dance company, product for clogging, or service
  • It includes references to creative commons images and/or videos
  • The idea is intended for an original UNPUBLISHED post about 750 – 1000 words in length. The post can be re-written, based on a previously written post, but must be original.

Follow the guidelines above and send your pitches for guest posts on the clogging blog!
