ClogOn.com’s New Direction

ClogOn.com has been in business selling clogging shoes, taps, and other dance products since 2005. It’s been a fun journey, and we’ve met cloggers from all over the world.

Unfortunately, about 6 months ago, the owner of one of our main manufacturers of clogging shoes passed away after dealing with health problems for some time. We offer our condolences to Mr. White, his family, and his company.

With this change, ClogOn.com has had difficulty finding another supplier to work with that will take care of our clients in a cost-effective and time-sensitive way. As some of you unfortunately know, this has been a source of considerable frustration for everyone involved.

Since we love clogging and want to stay involved in the clogging community, we’ve decided, to take a different direction. Starting March 15, 2014, ClogOn.com will be offering new services to the clogging and dance communities. These services will still be focused on our mantra of “keep clogging strong!” but will not be reliant on other companies who may or may not understand what our cloggers really need.

Here are the services we plan to provide:

  • Website Design & Programming for Dance Studios
  • Online Registrations Programming for Dance Studios
  • Business Planning Courses & Consulting for Dance Studios
  • Online Marketing Consulting for Dance Studios, including social media, search engine optimization, and content marketing
  • Custom T-shirts for Dance Studios

The owner of ClogOn.com, Nate Moller, has been involved in the above services for over 10 years. In fact, this is how ClogOn.com started back in 2005.

Nate and his team look forward to helping Dance Studios take what they have to the next level with step by step instruction, enthusiasm, and a “5, 6, 7, 8” approach.

More about Nate

How did you get started in online marketing?

The first “marketing” experience I remember clearly started in 9th grade. Our High School baseball team did fundraisers every year to earn money for stadium lighting and field maintenance and the like. As a freshman who wanted to make a good impression on my coach, I sold “cereal coupons” to everyone I knew in our small town in Idaho. I even went to the neighboring cities and sold to people my family was associated with there. Not only did I love sales and interacting with people, but I realized pretty quickly that it was all about “Who I Knew” that helped me win the grand prize of new baseball spikes.

Every year after that it wasn’t about IF I was going to win, it was about how much more I could sell – from oranges to “dollars per feet the ball was hit”.

Where are you from?

Rupert, Idaho originally. I now currently live in Utah.

What are your hobbies and interests?

Clogging is one of them! I run an online business called ClogOn.com. I also love sports — especially baseball, softball, soccer, golf, and tennis. Camping, hiking, sailing, fishing, and traveling are great, too. And, of course, I love online marketing and SALES!

What is your favorite book?

Right now I’m reading How Will You Measure Your Life? by Clayton M. Christensen so I’ll say that one. I really like To Kill a Mockingbird and any entrepreneur or self-motivation book is good too.

What is one of your life ambitions?

To go to Yankee Stadium to see a game in the historic stadium, which I got to do for 27th birthday! My wife ROCKS!

What is something that most people don’t know about you?

That I’m a clogger (although now many people know). I’ve clogged since I was 6 and have been all over the world clogging.

What was your first job?

Rolling hay bails into straight lines on our farm in Idaho.

Who is your hero?

I love my dad and all he’s taught me about life and how to live a good one. I also love studying about and asking questions of successful entrepreneurs and business owners.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Reading people’s minds! As a sales guy, this would help a ton! As a business owner, it would help too. But most of all, it would help me as a husband! Most of the time, I think I know what’s going on, but every once in awhile I’m WAY off when it comes to reading my wife’s mind.
